Twice a year, two staff members weed out grasses and invasive weeds along both sides of the road in the village, a distance stretching up to 7 km long, as well as the areas we manage and live in. Presently, we target a North American plant, the small-leaved white snakeroot (香澤蘭 in Chinese) (Ageratina aromatica). Invasive species are very hard to remove and require constant maintenance, otherwise they grow so quickly and compete with other native plants.
